Looks like a big move to get a white candle for today.<vbg>

I am short a little at 23 5/8. Will be covering at 22 1/4 to 1/2. May even go long if it bounces off of 22. Whoa did I really say that??? :-)

In addition to several downgrades on INTC, two other firms reduced estimates. From Briefing.com

Intel Corp. (INTC) 68 7/8 -2 9/16: --UPDATE-- Salomon Smith Barney lowers 1999 estimates for chip maker from $4.05 to $3.70, but maintains "buy" rating on the stock.....

Intel Corp. (INTC) 69 3/16 -2 1/4: --UPDATE-- Lehman Brothers lowers estimates for chip maker following delay in Merced chip; firm maintains "neutral" rating while lowering 1999 EPS from $3.55 to $3.50 and 2000 EPS from $3.90 to $3.60 a share.....
