Agreed. 65 is an achievable target, maybe early this week.

On this thread it seems someone is always ready to buy at any price

I know you are different. Possibly somebody would invest at sub-70 prices to make a few bucks on a bounce. However for a longer term investment two factors worry me.

First is the fact we are still in a BULL market. In a Bear market it wouldn't matter what products Intel announced or delayed, the stock would be dead. SO for the long term investor the question remains at what price will it eventually stabilize in a Bear market.

Second the stock is no longer bouncing back from bad news as aggressively as it did in the past. With Merced out of the picture, we are left with an awful lot of bad news. So the question remains at what price it will stabilize in the short term.

I think it has lower to go in the short term before a bounce. We may have until signs of a tech rally materialize. So the real question is what tech stock should we watch for signs of a tech rally. Time that rally and your INTC purchase and you should make money.

Joey,
I agree with you heck with it, let the bullets flying and buy more of this suckers.
People had a wrong Idea, they made a big deal out of FTC and Merced delay. What else next, earning warning? Hey, let it comes out now (ggg). I am also thinking about the Calls far out. Merced hardware is well ahead of the schedule, people don't realize that. Of course Intel delay is due to Market timing and more software OS. It does not make any sense to release the dawn hardware with only a few software run on it. FTC probes on Intel is baseless and nothing to go after, it is just a big noise. Intel has more than 10 years experience lawyers, who is watching the border line. Intel never step too far out of that line. In fact AMD claims they are ahead, well that is a fair competition.
I have to say the bears had put all the negative news together nicely.
