DELL's stratagey centers around selling the highest end Wintel hardware out there.
with the delay, there are high end sales that will go to other companies ie. sunw, hwp, ibm etc...
This will also delat DELL's entrance into the high end hardware business for a while.
I believe all of this is built into the DELL estimates going forward.
That will have to change and will result in lower net revs.
A merced $1400 chip product would have much higher ASP's and margins than the comodity xenon product that will be sold instead.
