Read an article that stated money was flowing predominately into U.S. bonds, this would account for the recent drop in the 30 year bond yield. One would think this would be positive for the stock market, but the flip side to this inflow of money is the strengthening of the U.S. currency. This makes American made goods more expensive for foreigners to purchase and will ultimately put pressure on the profit margins and sales of U.S. exporting companies. With earnings growth already slowing this may have a more negative effect on the market than the positive effect of the lower bond yields.

Frank,

I sure hope you're right..because right now my stocks are taking a "hit" and I'm in the process of financing a home (I can't lock in my
interest rate until the house is 60 days from completion.) At least this way I can win one way or the other.
