It is with great amusement that I have just read thru the last 15 postings or so on Lodgenet. "Tokyo" is CLEARLY a short seller. I'm sure his "interest" is NOT in trying to be helpful to other investors. If he doesn't have a vested interest in seeing these shares decline I doubt you would see his constant negative opinions. It is unfortuneate that many investors who don't understand their companies very well can fall prey to these types of individuals.
I would urge any investor to take a clear look at the 1997 Lodgenet Anuual Report. Page 18 shows a clear 5 yr run of CONSISTENT growth of:

- Revenue ($31 mil to $135 mil)
-EBITDA ($7.2 mil to $35.7 mil)
-rooms served (267,171 to 606,827)
-monthly revenue per room ($15.07 to $21.14)
Lodgenet routinely achieves returns on investment OVER 25%

As for the lawsuit, reguarless of the outcome, any potential damages are not expected to have any "material" impact on the co. Actually, the co. is confident of a positive result from their lawsuit against ONCO, although I am not expecting a victory to be overly MATERIAL either.

By the way..there was VERY minor insider sells, but MATERIAL insider buys. (i believe $1 million worth of stock was purchased in March by Director Larry Flinn)

For the fringe investors, I hope this clarifies some of the nonsense on this thread. It is probably fair to assume that ANYTIME you read extreme opinions, you may want to question the motivation of those opinions.
