RESEARCH ALERT-Dain upgrades Norwest Corp. <NOB.N>

CHICAGO, June 1 (Reuters) - Dain Rauscher Wessels said
Monday analyst Ben Crabtree upgraded Norwest Corp. to strong
buy from buy.
-- Says in report investors will have more confidence in
the banking company's ability to maintain 12 to 14 percent
earnings per share growth generated by top-line growth.
-- Says $47 12-month stock price target is based on a
1.5-point price/earnings premium to current p/e of 19.5 for the
average large bank it follows. Says p/e could approach the
mid-20s.
-- Stock up 11/16 at 39-9/16 on the New York Stock
Exchange.
-- Estimates 1998 earnings per share of $1.98 and 1999 of
$2.25.

Ticketmaster (TKTM) said Monday it will become a content provider and merchant on Yahoo! (YHOO), while Ticketmaster will market Yahoo! to its customers through Ticketmaster Online and in direct mail inserts to Ticketmaster ticket buyers. Visitors to Yahoo! events, sports and local areas willÿ find listings for arts showings, concerts, sports, family, museums and theater events. They will also be able to purchase event tickets. Ticketmaster's Online units said its sales in April totaled $7.5 million, a 300 percent gain over last year. Financial terms of today's cross-marketing agreement were not released.
