typically, people sell at the wrong time. ie: they wait for their stock go down 20%.. then they decide they can't stomach it anymore. they end up selling 20% from the highs. then the stock goes back up (20% is a good healthy pullback.) the seller are mad that they sold at the bottom and then promise "not to sell again". if you're gonna sell. sell at the peak.. not at the bottom!
