G200 vs. V2 benchmark

Got this from a Matrox site. Looks like a very nice D3D card but no V2 killer. We will have to see if DX6 helps close the Glide gap

>The more than worthy 3DFx have sent me a 12MB Voodoo 2 reference board to use in my ongoing G200 review. What I'll do now is to test the two head to head 3Dwise. A couple of things I'd like to make clear I'm not interested in advocacy debates, I'll test and present the results you can make up your own minds. I don't want to get into all this Voodoo 2 killer rubbish, I nor Matrox are saying the G200 is a Voodoo 2 killer, as I've said before it's not and I don't expect anything else to be for some time. I can say now there are areas where the G200 will be better than the Voodoo 2 and vice versa. So why a Voodoo 2? Easy, it's THE 3D board at the moment, 3DFx are the 3D trendsetters to which everyone is currently playing catch up. So to put the G200 in perspective referencing it against the Voodoo 2 is the way to go.<
