I sincerely would feel uncomfortable buying(long) dell at 78.5. From past
experience, I've found that I ALWAYS lose money when I am not
convinced about the "value" of the stock. Therefore, I would not
go long on dell now or in the near future.
You on the other hand frequently make money on dell, because you have
the *CONVICTION* that Dell is undervalued. Therefore you don't take
losses or settle for small gains.
I really am clueless about the short term. Dell may bounce back to the
80's and you would make yourself a tidy profit if you buy today. I
would however hold on to my short(@93 and 86.5) for a while longer.
Unfortunately, my intel psition is hurting, so I am not too happy
either today!
best o' luck!
