And I said to you that the comment is irrelevant given the views that I expressed about the US and how I feel about living here. It would be as irrelevant as my responding to you that you should leave the country if you abhor living here -- since you have not suggested that there is anything that is abhorrent about living here -- and neither have I.

BTW, this attitude about "love it or leave it" is not unusual--people in most countries feel that way.
