just a question from a guy that knows absolutely nothing about the oil industry except my car needs it. Some years ago, didn't US companies stop drilling cause they couldn't compete with the middle east. Now with Russia entering the picture think the competition will get even tighter. Now from a different angle. As more and more cars go electric or gas/electric combo, think the competition gets even tighter than tight. Don't know but are the US oil companies able to compete these days? Thanks for any input.
