So, I called Nina today only to find out she's on vacation.
Now, maybe its me, but with no word of approval (on the day the company said to expect it) it seems a funny time to take a vacation.
Maybe she had it planned months ago, but you'd think there are better times to take a vacation, especially if you are the entire IR department. I guess this just supports the "get a clue" sentiment a few VVUS longs have expressed.

I forgot who mentioned this:
"a company selling all the product it can product and is still losing money makes me nervous."

I couldn't agree more. If this is the case, we are screwed. I am hoping, if we lose money as expected, it is because of PFE and PFE alone. If we are selling all the product possible, obviously PFE isn't hurting us, which throws a wrench in the thinking around here. I know the margins are lower overseas, but if they are not positive, then why bother? I think it is time for our dear management to shed some light on the situation. I am not overly concerned about script numbers because a large portion of their sales are to male clinics (not recorded by IMS). I would like to know an overall decline in domestic product shipment (scripts plus clinic sales.) I'd also like to know what other factors are contributing to the lack of earnings. With the milestone payments and shipping all the product, one would expect to see the numbers in the BLAAAAAAAAAAAACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The MCA approval of Viagra, if it comes, is going to do the samething to VVUS internationally as it did here. The nice thing is, we have some solid companies oversees (Jansen and Astra) to deal with that instead of just VVUS. Look to the US as a pattern of things to come in the next 1/2 of year. If VVUS can turn things around here, investors will have more confidence they can do it everywhere. If they can't, I shutter to think!

Anyway, it was meant to be a short post, but I got off on a rant. Still as long as I have ever been, but it is time for some results. I'll accept
FDA approval for starters. We'll go from there.

Perhaps we'll call the show "VVUS and d--khead!" Sorry! It just came out.
