AMD recently completed an enhanced OpenGL patch for Voodoo board
users who want to play Quake II. The company said a full OpenGL
driver will be out soon.


Humm . . . I don't know who is writing the full driver, does anyone
else know? However I think it is really great news that the K6-2
will have both DirectX and OpenGL support. I feel that OpenGL is
more popular, mainstream, anyway. This way all bases are covered.
AMD is going to own the CPU market segment for gaming, and from
there it will attack the entertainment and communications segments.
The money will soon start to roll in . . .
