Gabard If company has best intentions Dan should have explicitly mentioned on Friday late afternoon when I asked him if Friday market was the closing time to get dividend. How come he did not say that the x dividend date is not finalized yet but he went on to say that Friday evening market closing is the deadline for dividend. Ofcourse that was misleading .. Rav

That is why the price did not adjust this morning. True the NASDAQ didn't adjust the price but those "dividend scalpers" sure did...IMO the company should not have said Friday was the ex date unless they had all paperwork sorted out. Now we have the downday today from those thinking they will get the split so they bail and the day of the split we will have another down day (adjusting day). Today's $3.50 paper loss could have been avoided had the company thought out the split process a little better IMO (call me silly but even though I am not selling anytime soon I still like to look at the paper gains I have made). However, it does give me a better chance to pick up some more P's since I was going to do it anyway, plus I get it at a cheaper price and will still receive 50% more shares on the ones I buy at this time. Oh well, Boob
