Hi AL. IMO the bonds are temporarily decoupled from stocks due to the
various crisis situations overseas. Take your pick from Yugoslavia to
Pakistan to Japan to Russia etc. Bonds are a safe temporary haven for
overseas investors during temporary upheavals.
