Some comments on the internet wreck today by an analyst:

>>>William Blair analyst Abhishek Gami agreed overall market
volatility appeared to be a big factor, but suggested the news
of the delay of Intel Corp's <INTC.O> next generation chip
might also be causing some concern among Internet stock
investors.
"If this (Intel's delay) hampers the sale of low-priced
PCs, then in some investors' eyes, it reduces the ability for
Internet companies to grow their businesses," Gami said.
He noted that much of the sharp rise in Internet stocks
earlier this year was linked to the proliferation of low-priced
PCs, which was expected to bring more people online.
