I want to go to Bayern right now Jury. Here the temp is >100 degrees, and probably up to 104 today -- echte Scheisse.
Der Herr should help us if our air conditioning breaks down. That would surely be then end.

Interesting system of waste disposal there heheheh.

Today's market action consisted of me getting my head handed to me. I'm an investor now (like they say on the commercials).

Better this time than the last though. I'm diversified in 3 good (?) companies with about 60% of assets, rather than trying to hit the home run like last time with 150% in one stock!

Here's to everybody's health,

it

JT,

what do you make of todays move above 69...does it indicate that it was oversold yesterday?

My entry into INTC at 77 held for a while but I am behind now...dammit

I think INTC is vulnerable to analyst downgrades more than any stock I know...

The way I see the world economy is that there is a lot of cash going to the USA ...this is pushing up th $US...close to 140 Yen for example...but with the DOW at 9000 to 9100 it is not going into equities but staying in cash and pushing US rates down...we may see rates of 4 to 4.5% in US soon...how do you see it?

Juri:

SAP is banging against the sound barrier of 1KDM and I assume this resistance will take some time. Plus there may be signs of saturation for R/3 around the globe. But again, we were wrong so far, right? BTW Im keeping part of the leaps.

have a look at LHSG. Berney said some time ago he does not have anything on it, so this may be a good bet (g). Since that time the stock added ~36 percent. Not bad for about 4 mo.

What about having a dinner beim Italiener in Karlruhe? Halfway between Bayern und Saarland? I pay the dinner, you pay the drinks (Im cheap). You set the date.
