<<<<So what's your explanation .......don't forget that the price of a stock is equal to WHAT INVESTORS WILL PAY FOR IT. if daimler buys chrysler for $100/share, the price will rise--in spite of what MM's do. ......right now we have regular, continual selling by investors who worry about asia (dgiv), interest rates, and high valuation. they are willing to sell for lower and want to buy for lower stock prices. ....believe me, if WCOM offered $10 per share for DGIV the price would soar, in spite of the MM's. i hope you understand this. ......anyone who blames the MM's as the "primary" reason for a stock dropping is living in an illusion. .....long DGIV, but not easily convinced that it is anything more than selling pressure. curtis
