Boot's E3 Hardware review - they had a press pass, I didn't.

bootnet.com

Includes a picture and official specs of the TNT card.

As usual with these articles, they say that every card is "hot" and "cool" and "killer" and ... Funny how none of them have any negatives. ;-)

Here's their 3Dfx comments:
"So what was 3Dfx doing with all these assassins waiting in the wings? Unfortunately, not much. While Banshee won't be officially unveiled until late next month, Voodoo2 was still the dominant 3D accelerator to be reckoned with. Practically every game, from Origin's Ultima Ascension to Activision's Heavy Gear 2, was swaying to the Voodoo2 vibe. Bump-mapping was also in full effect, thanks to an enhanced version of Montezuma's Return. "

>>Todays lack of volume was proof that the current holders are reluctant to sell even in the midst of a major correction. <<

Sell??? Were they any Buyers to SELL to?

Today's virtually nonexistant volume, might indicate that whatever buyers there are all bought last week. Do they have any money left?? Will there by any new buyers. What's the term "overbought"?

Maybe today was just a simple Intel reaction. Tomorrow will be interesting.

I see short interest is now over 1.2 million shares (May figure, probably even more now). I'd stick it out at least until next earnings (in six weeks?). I doubt TDFX will disappoint and the shorts will be taking the heat.

In fact, I'm glad there is high short interest. I'd hate to see the stock this low without it. It could be a long month though...
