You wrote... "Waterhouse is a great online broker if you don't trade more than 5,000 shares at a time. They charge $12 per trade for up to 5,000 shares. Anything over that and you incur an additional penny a share on the whole trade"

Implying that any trade over 5000 shares is charged a commission of $12 + .01 per share. That is not so. The commission on trades over 5000 shares is .01 per share.....ie; It would cost $100 to purchase 10000 shares of LGOV in a single trade.

If anyone does choose Waterhouse then I would advise you to carefully check your statements....I have found commission errors on a few statements.
