Reasons: 1. Unmanageable debt; 2. Severe decreasing cash flow from operations.

In all my years of trading, I have seen only a handful of companies tell investors in direct language, in advance, that they are going to pursue bankruptcy. Companies on the edge like to keep the candle lit with hope of a rescue until they are actually walking down to the courthouse with the BK papers.

Experienced investors know this while inexperienced investors speculate on it.
