FIELD ACTIVITIES / Brownstone to drill in Michigan

BROWNSTONE RESOURCES INC. - DRILLING ON SECOND WELL IN SOUTHERN MICHIGAN PROJECT SCHEDULED FOR FIRST WEEK IN JUNE

TORONTO, June 2 /CNW/ - Brownstone Resources Inc. (''Brownstone'') wishes
to announce the drilling of two additional Michigan exploratory oil and gas
wells. Drilling is expected to start June 4th and will be at zero ''dry hole
cost'' to Brownstone in exchange for a dilution of 55% in Brownstone's interest
in the prospects.
The first well, Greenburg I-6, is located in Macomb County. The target
is a seismically defined medium to large sized Niagran Reef at a depth of
approximately 3400 feet. If successful, we anticipate that at least two
additional wells will be drilled within the next 10 months.
After the Greenburg I-6, the rig will move to the Osterland 18 location
in St. Clair County and drill a directional well to test new recently obtained
seismic data on the previously drilled prospect. Target depth is 2700 feet
and, if successful, we anticipate drilling at least one more well within the
next year.
The first well should reach target depth by June 15th and the second by
month end. Brownstone retains an approximate 10% interest in each prospect.
Brownstone Resources Inc. holds interests in mineral properties and oil
and gas exploration. Brownstone has 11,867,005 common shares issued and
outstanding. Brownstone's common shares trade over the counter with trades
reported on the Canadian Dealing Network under the symbol ''BWNI''.
