Not sure about the Pacific Exchange factors,

but here's a link that seems to demonstrate the discrepancy about the quote:

stockmaster.com

(note: this quote is 500 shares less in the daily total than the other quotes cited.)

The volume today was not that heavy, maybe 67% or so of the average daily volume. The first trades of the morning were larger than the subsequent ones, but then the tone was set for the day. The rest of trades I saw were also relatively small, e.g. 2,000 shrs. with some hundreds going along. It looks more than anything like a simple absence of buyers rather than serious "technical" damage. We have seen this repeatedly in the OE trading pattern.

Today also saw the underlying equity markets doing much worse than the Dow Jones Average. It's the kind of divergence that many have been experiencing: there is more of a bear in a personal portfolio than the indexes might suggest.

As far as the short term for OE, I see more room for downside action. So once again, for buyers, we are entering a good accumulation point, while margined "investors" are probably being pulled out of their positions.
