Oh, sorry I thought it was evident. You see, CSCO , the world's data networking giant, has just announced products that will compete with Newbridge. They've integrated IP routing in an ATM layer 2 switch, using their industry de-facto standard IOS routing software. Service Providers may now chose Cisco products over Newbridge products, thus affecting Newbridge's success moving forward. Anytime the industry giant announces a competing product, it can be dangerous. (Like when Microsoft announced Excel,Word and Powerpoint. Remember Lotus 123, WordPerfect and Harvard Graphics ?) Please let me know if I'm off on my assumptions, Cheers, Peppe
