Jef, I have given this some second thought, and I tend to agree with you. I suspect the Merced will generate higher margins for Dell when compared to servers/workstations that have single or multiple pentiums.

Sure would like to see Dell and the tech sector reach some stability. Saw that Dell was up to 79 in after hours trading.

I resently heard something on CNBC (if correct) that Merced only equated to 1% of PC sales in 1999.
