Corel's loss is High Road's gain
...Cindy Scott, no doubt worn out by the often unfriendly media barrage at Corel and eager to spread some good news, is joining the Ottawa public relations firm as its director of U.S. public relations.

Ms. Scott spent six years at the software company, most recently as its PR director and responsible for a staff of 30.

Yet it appears that Corel is loath to let her go. She'll postpone setting up her desk at High Road's Ottawa office until later in the summer. Corel has asked her to help with its mid-June visit to PC Expo in New York.
