VECO is considerably more focused on the data storage industry while Micrion is more focused on the semi conductor industry in different applications of a similar technology. I am aware that VECO has sold a system here and there to IBM. I am eager to learn if VECO has established a volume order with them. I think there has been much work on this and during a recent investors seminar VECO officials alluded to a new large shipping relationship that was pending. I believe that potential business is related to the measurement side of VECO's business (derived from their aquisition of Wyko).

You asked the difference between Micrion and VECO in terms of what they do with ions, which is a question that has been asked before. I think this will clear up the difference for you:
