Thanks Ojai, I'll ask Steve. I also think this new rule would help level the playing field. Next on the wish list would be a client to view the INCA book, similar to ISLD. Yeah, right...

I don't believe I brought it up but was commenting on the NASDAQ's consideration of it and whether its fair they display size...
issue - should YOU be required to show entire size? if not, then why should market makers? what if market maker only gets small pieces,little at a time from client? are they required to get full size from client?
I disagree with much of how nasdaq operates, but ifyou are going to let mm control the markets, set prices for the stocks, they you cant tell them to show their hand..you let card players into the game, you can't ask them to show all their cards...
since we specialize at working orders of size for clients, I would hate seeing the impact upon our quality of execution if I (OUR FIRM) had to show whole size.

To the point...i think nASD was discussing it, someone brought itup here, i comment, i comment again..check nasd's site or call nasdaq..they are pretty helpful.
