[ VICL ]

Scott, thanks very much for providing the analysis for VICL. I see you had a wonderful day with this issue in the face of broad market weakness. The developments at VICL must be a blessing for those who have faced the scare of prostate cancer.

For the technical picture, VICL is caught in a well-defined Channel, with the upper boundary at $19.00. The significance of the news could take this above these levels, but I am not sure if enough demand exists to take out the upper resistance levels. We'll find out tomorrow.

The chart shows a lot of inconsistencies that makes this less attractive from a TA standpoint, but the business case you pointed out makes this an interesting issue.

By the way, have you spoken to Richard Harmon over at the Charts for Quick Cash thread? It seems that the two of you are extremely proficient with the biotech issues. Until this year, I have never touched the sector because I had no idea how to value the companies. Hopefully with more exposure to your analyses I'll be able to get up to speed with the sector.

By the way again, TRIBY sure looked interesting today. The failure to follow through to the upside is a little disconcerting.

Regards,

Rainier
