Secondary virginity is an obscure football term that applies to slow, plodding running backs who are easily tackled before they reach the secondary. The Arizona Cardinals have had many secondary virgins in their backfield over the years. These secondary virgins then get recycled with teams like the St. Louis Rams, the New Orleans Saints and, until recently, the New York Jets.
