Glad to hear from you Rocki, after following it for 3 years you probably know more about this company than the rest of us combined so we'll look forward to hearing more from you. AS for being lonely here well I guess most are content to let the stock grow without any hype - let the earnings, agreements and partnerships speak for themselves as it were. I like that approach.

I am very positive on e-commerce, especially business-to-business. The consumer side is still relatively weak and needs the implementation of something like the SET standard to get individuals more comfortable with giving out credit cards over the net. But then there's Mondex and other stored-value approaches - the last I heard, the Mondex card was being tested in the Sherbrooke area.

>> Mpact has the Management and the goods and is poised for fantastic growth(even more than what management are predicting)

Agree wholeheartedly

>> Sat Montreal gazette identified 11 groups for the $13million private placement

Someone mentioned the Montreal Police Fund - sounds like a pretty conservative group to be into such a leading edge technology company!

>> Mpact stated a major 'transaction', to me is similar to compact's Club-Web, not as per the media's senario.

To me the wording suggests a buyout or someone taking a major stake in the company. The length of time that this is taking hopefully means that we aren't prepared to give it away.

>>One thought comes to mind is Dell; if I remember correctly Mpact's EDI is being used on the business side. What about Buyway for the
Consumer/Net side for DELL? Now that would be big.

It sure would. I had dropped a note to John Davidson (IR) about the Dell relationship some time ago - he too would like to see that happen of course.

>> what do you think about Mpact for MSFT's Money, similar to Checkfree with Intuit.

I'm not familiar with the details of that deal. I assume Checkfree is providing the backbone/conduit.

>> Another one that seems to have fadded recently is the association with Mondex.

We'll be hearing more when the Sherbrooke test is completed - I'm not sure when that is. Stored value devices are certain to be big winners though the format (card vs ring etc.) is still up for grabs.

>> A 'small' stake by a major corp would give Mpact a credibility boost-although I'm not sure they need it.

Well it never hurts to have a big guy in your corner. Some projects simply cannot be given to an unknown or "small" player.

>> Nasdaq should be next, they have doubled the market cap they wanted prior to listing. Then a (US) acquisition

Nasdaq only a matter of time now.
