What about all the y2k related purchases that need to be made? I know my company is mandating that we be ready in '99. My reading indicates that companies will have to do it whether it is in their budget or not.

EMC has said that they see 30% growth, which I have assumed somewhat relates to the overall enterprise storage market since they own so much of it. MTIC sales grew 30%. Are you saying that there is so much competition in the "everybody but EMC" group that that is hurting growth?

In regards to consolidation and selling CPCI, I do thing their could be some good synergy in merging the right companies together. e.g. a good oem company with a good retail company; a good manufacture with a company with a good service organization; a good R&D/patent company with a good marketing/sales company etc. What companies would make sense together?
