Hi All,

last week SUN debundled the CPU, memory and disk from their base
Ultra-Enterprise 450 server and raised the price of the system over
10% when they did it!

Take a look at how the Origin 200 stacks up now:

Sun UE450
---------
Base System with CD $11,345
250MHz/1MB CACHE CPU $2,690
128MB RAM $1,200
4.5 GB Disk $925
------
Total $16,160

SGI O200
--------
Base System with 1 CPU & 4.5 GB Disk $11,165
128MB RAM $1,664
CD-ROM $795
------
Total $13,624

Or put another way, a customer can buy two CPU Origin 200 for the
same price as a single CPU Sun UE 450.

Thanks Sun!

Greetings,

Christian
