Maurice: Good plan, lets fill these threads up with all sorts of juicy rumors and then bring all information presented under question. Interesting that they know what Globalstar's voice quality and delay is when they have not made even one call that I have heard of. Please provide references, your "rumor from a good source" is less than useless because it only serves to confuse.

I heard a rumor from a good source that Iridium voice quality is tinny and there are delays in transmission, whereas the Globalstar voice quality is cdmaOne perfect and there is no perceptible delay.

I wonder about this given the fact that G* sats are twice as high and therefore the signal has twice as far to go as Iridium. Iridium should have less delay than G* if its perceptable. CDMA hasn't repealed the speed of light!
