That 1.2 million short is a great sign for us. It means that along with Fidelity selling, VC selling, Intel fears.. the short sellers came in big.

And someday they will have to cover, which will put some upward pressure on the stock.

Ralph,

There is no time limit imposed upon covering stocks shorted on the NASDAQ. You can be forced to cover for other reasons, for instance if everyone that owned the stock moved it out of margin accounts.

I would imagine short covering is what is providing support at $19. Lets see what happens as earnings near in a few weeks. TDFX may not blow out estimates, but they are likely to meet them. If we are lucky and they do exceed estimates, then the shorts will really fry. Hopefully TDFX will shart hyping Banshee soon - that should cause them some more pain. Shorting a fundementally undervalued stock usually results in a suicide in the end.

FWIW - I bought more today at $19.
