Actually during the Conference Call

the new CFO promised he would reduce Novell's operating General & Administrative expenses to 6%---within industry standards. If he does that he will have cut them considerably.

So I think he carved out his own mission and he must have convinced Schmidt he could do it.

sure does look that way, but he has a heck of an impressive resume. Why would a guy like that take an interim job anyhow? Anyone have any answers?
