Hi Gavin. Agreed! I am much more enthused with a commodity that is consumed based on practical application, house wiring, motors etc. etc., then pretty stuff to hang around your neck! In due course, this commodity will break away from following gold. LME reserves continue to deplete, albeit consumption is also down, resulting in some mines shutting down due to cash cost per lb of Cu. In the end we will all benefit from this property, even if it returns only 1/2 of its perceived potential. I am patient and can afford to ignore the fluctuations of price in the short term! the Chief
