James,

I think the options MMs/Writers are nicely profiting from all the premiums and are helping with the squeeze.

Small investors(speaking for myself only) are flexible, under less pressure, we will just dance around by waiting and trading. Just make sure that we do not buy a single share without the Puts/shorts protection.

Yes, I too have been experiencing trouble finding more shares to short. But I have some already, so i dont care too much. But squeeze or no squeeze, AMZN will see $30....maybe its time to buy PUTs.
