For example let us suppose that it is August 1999 (14 months from now). CheckFree's earnings for year ended June 30, 1999, were .32 per share, and the next year is for 1.00 per share. Wouldn't the stock (assuming it's august 99') trade around it's growth rate multiplied by the earnings estimate for the next 12 months? (or 1.00 X 40)

Don't most growth stocks trade at next years earnings estimates?
