Jim, I agree with you 100%. I look forward to being locked into FON and QCOM for those very reasons. I, too, have BellSouth and am looking forward to "4th and long - here comes the punting unit"

Unfortunately, I live in a state where CDMA isn't (yet). :-(

Regards.

jim, I think this Sprint Fastbreak or ION or whatever they're gonna call this thing is mighty important. So important that I am invoking grand poobah powers. So here it is kids, mandatory reading assignment time. Grab today's WSJ and get thee to column 6. There will be tests and/or pop quizzes at my sole and absolute discretion.
Okay, so even if I have been seduced by the Florid One, isn't this a really cool announcement because it plays right into CDMA? I mean we're packet switched to the nines, right? So doesn't that mean that the Mighty Q as the king of wireless will fit right in with the new paradigm packet switched wired world and we'll be cool and groovy like an old time movie and Ericy's going to be moving further to the rear?
Michael, engineer--have I got my photons running cock-eyed? Mike Doyle
