After remaining strong and probably at overvalued price levels over the last five months, Donner and all of the inner-connected stocks fell sharply just days after Donner announced the 1998 drill season had started. Apparently rumors got started that they didn't hit and the stocks all started sinking. Donner stock was halted and an unplanned news release the next day confirmed they didn't hit a "discovery" hole on either of the two partially drilled holes.

Thats right, Donner and the other companies all lost a third or more in value in just a couple of days due to better expectations on the first two holes? Some 370 meters of the 22,500 meters planned for the season caused this reaction. It looks as though the volatility is going to be critical this season and should allow any of you traders to have a great time. Personally, I'm sitting tight and will wait for drill results as they come out over the next several months.

While Gallery Resources' price got whacked a little, it is not directly tied to the results of Donner and recovered more quickly. Gallery should have begun work on the ground at their two sites and have news of their work programs issued by the time you receive this. Be sure and call them for an update as I think we will see a drill program start at the Harp Lake project within the next 30 days.

Both are buys at these levels before drilling heats up the stock prices once again.

Kent,

Seems like you got lots of work to do.

Just a note on the UTEM4. Kelly lake was discovered before the production BHUTEM4 was up and running so I see a little excess PR on the basis of the LGL or INCO there. Maybe it confirmed the direction of higher grade zone or something? What does Mort think of the new system?

Not to detract from the system as it has amazing S/N improvements. The 3-component mag is used as an orientation correction factor so its a byproduct really. But a sharp geo-wiz may find that data, in and of itself, very useful. I am glad to see you have embraced BH-geophysics, maybe even ahead of the SVB heard.

Good Hunting
