I agree, we're seeing some profit-taking. Like me, many people bought in at less than $2 and are afraid to lose the great gains of the last month. I believe I will just hold my shares, however, because news and rumors of news may be released any time. I am more concerned with losing the quantity of shares I own (by selling now and then buying back later at a higher price after the next announcement). I just think trading this stock will result in being without an ownership position at just the wrong time. If the share price erodes, I will consider adding to my holdings. I think the recent Wired article was very short-sighted. They forget that Wave can meter any digital content, whether through fiber-optics, satellite, CD-Rom, DVD, etc. The next few years will see an explosion of broadband distribution and therefore content that needs to be metered and protected. I also think the privacy issue will be handled. I don't see any difference between VISA knowing what I bought at Wal-Mart last week, and metering my use of digital content. Personally, I can't wait for the day when I can tell my "teleputer" that I want to watch a biography of Lewis and Clark...NOW, or the 1980 Indianapolis 500...NOW, or a how-to video on constructing a home-built airplane...NOW. Our current system of content distribution will seem archaic in a few years; we are given a limited selection of programming to watch at a very specific time with 33% of our time dominated by commercials that I don't want me kids to see. The broadband distribution of content is the key to the WaveMeter and it is beginning to shine on the horizon now; Wave will rise with it.
