Dear Ken - I certainly hope BAY is not behaving like a company about to be acquired.

It should try to make the best efforts as a business entity, whether or not there is any negotiation behind the scene. Otherwise, why would the acquirer be interested in acquiring her?!

Btw, I got a couple of PRIVATE MSGes regarding my last post, I wrote it in half-jest <G> for I find it amusing for people so preoccupied with the takeover gambit. If BAY is trying her best to make the best products, to steamline her operations, to cut cost, to save jobs, then she is taking the hi-ground in marketing her values. If she dropped everything except responding to every rumor and innuendo, then she is doing everyone [herself, her shareholders and any interested party] a disservice.

Sorry if I rub the takeover-minded the wrong way, just my take

Best, Bosco

Kenneth,re:"acquired". For trader, that's great news. For long term
stock holder, that's noise.

Also, if BAY is acting to be acquired, it better displays the BEST
product. Maybe that is BAY is trying to do. Sitting on your hand
has no chance of getting a good price.

Would like to see BAY has GREAT products for the market, then
the GREAT PRICE that all the traders are aiming will come.

Until then, it is just the trader's paradise, ON/OFF. teens
today, $80 tomorrow.
