Abercrombie & Fitch Files Suit Against American Eagle Outfitters

REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio, June 2 /PRNewswire/ -- Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE: ANF - news) announced today that it has filed suit against American Eagle Outfitters (Nasdaq: AEOS - news) alleging an intentional and systematic copying of the Abercrombie & Fitch Brand, its images and business practices, including the design and look of the Company's merchandise, marketing and catalog/magazine. The lawsuit, filed this morning in Federal District Court in Columbus, Ohio, seeks to enjoin American Eagle's practices, recover American Eagle's profits and obtain punitive damages.
