Krio: It is absolutely NOT a "silver bullet", and Bob Bemer would shake in his boots (he actually does wear Cowboy boots) if he heard anybody claim that it was.

I categorize it more as "polished pewter".

There is a tremendous amount of skepticism in the techie world about the Vertex 2000 technique. News of a couple of successful implementations would help alleviate the worries.

To All: I thought Mr. Tom Petzenger,in his WSJ article on B Bemer and Vertex 2000, refered to it as "the silver plated bullet". I do not believe at this time, anyway, a "silver bullet' exists???????
