I confess I'm still perplexed by this latest "strategic alliance". I thought the software was meant chiefly to be used by individuals; companies will deal with their Y2K problems in other ways. It's one thing to offer a fix online: people download it, no fuss, no bother, no packaging, high margins. But now they've got themselves involved in distribution (always expensive--Zitec's taking $15 a package, more than 30%) and, apparently, in making consultants available, which will also cost. And they don't really even know if they have a market, and, vide ut supra seem unsure what that market might be.

Or, um, could this all have to do with the ATM machines? Mike? You out there?
