Trufflette,

Yep, sure did see that piece of "trash" journalism. But I was advised not to post it to the thread because it was copywrited and that it would be illegal.

Anyway,,,,At least now, we know where everybody is this week.

I'm wondering, and I have a feeling others are too, if there isn't a hidden agenda in here. You don't usually see such a mean spirited article concerning this company.

and releasing a couple of press statements promoting Vivus safety

Does this mean there is another release coming out, or did I just miss one of them?

The company also underestimated how bitter patients and doctors are about the false promise of Muse. It's safe, perhaps, but Muse isn't so effective.

Ok, little help here from the doctors on board. Is this the feeling you get? Are they speaking for you here?

I think this is BS. Muse is safe and effective. Where does this comment come from? The writer must have really done some digging because I have never seen this statement anywhere else...well, except for maybe on the "other vvus thread", or in the pfe thread, or, let me see..maybe spoken by a true, possibly worried short.

Well, I don't want to overdose you with my "deep thinking" as that would truly confound most of you. But, at least I opened the floor up for discussion and rebuttal!

Have a good day,

E'Lane.....thinking Stock.com has really stooped to new lows now.

Hey, this article seems to be hitting way below the belt. It is interesting to me that during the past avalanche of media coverage and/or hype on Viagra, Muse was not mentioned at all in many instances even though other ED besides Viagra were mentioned frequently. It was as Muse didn't exist, except for those in your face class action announcements. Now with a little positive new and press coverage on Muse occurring, out pops such a vicious attacking article, not written to inform but to maim and cripple. Somebody desperately fears the potential rise of Muse on its own merits.

Live Long & Prosper,
4-Bob

<<In his report, concisely titled "Kicking a Company When It's Down Because I Only Cut My Rating on It in Mid-December After Riding the Stock Pretty Much All the Way Down," PaineWebber analyst Charles Olsziewski after the Vivus dinner cut his sales and earnings estimates for the company. >>

Did the Paine Weber guy really publish this? He was one of VVUS biggest bulls and accused of being a whore for VVUS by shorts.

Regarding efficacy: Inventor Gene Voss claims that it works. Edderd uses it in his practice and claims it works. I know he is very long on VVUS. Perhaps they are biased because of their investments.

Unless those script numbers start to change, judgement day is soon.

I see VVUS has announced more bad news. The old axiom, good news tends to follow good news and bad news tends to follow bad.
