It wasn't my butt my kids kicked at that age. I always changed diapers sitting on the floor V-legged, with the kid on its back legs toward me. Needless to say it was not always a defensible position.....kinda analogous to boxing, where you are using your arms to block their legs. When they get older, they start to target and get some power and then it gets dangerous......its still quaint when they're only packin' 7 lbs, wait until he gets in the 40 lb. range. I've got an 80 lb 6 year old girl (7 in July) who is beyond the carry off for punishment stage.......I'm the only one punished in that scenario......one great thing about buying kids lessons in cool things like horseback riding is that they make great threats to take away if the kid doesn't listen........haven't missed a lesson yet! I've become my parents NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rman Out......
