To the "thread,"

So, who will answer the following riddle?

"What is the definition of a weak specialist?" (Answer at the bottom)

___________________________________________________________________

Bottom:

A weak specialist is one that can be quoting a stock at $ 15.375 bid, $ 15.625 offered, 500 shares up, at around 3:50 PM NY time.

A seller comes in to sell 2500 common (at the market, not held), and 500 trades at 3/8, 400 trades at a 1/4, and 1600 remains offered there.

Market quote now, after 900 shares have been "successfully" liquidated? 15 bid, 1/4 offered, 500 X 1600

And, who might this courageous specialist be?

Hahahaha. You mean you have to ask? <G>

Have a good evening.
