Jeff,

Where can I buy an AMD 100MHz chipset with AGP and all that has guaranteed compatibility and perfomance?

You need to be better informed. Thus, it explains why you invest in INTC.

I have been running a K6-336Mhz on FIC VA-503+ at 112Mhz over a week. The board has 1 2X AGP slot. The best Business Winstone97 I got from this system is 71.7 with the following setup.

CPU: K6-336/112 (an oc K6-266) @2.2V
Motherboard: FIC VA-503+, 1MB L2 cache
RAM: 96MB Micron 60ns EDO with the SDRAM timing @112Mhz
Video: Matrox Mystique 220 4MB V.3.82 @1024x768x16bit
HD: WD31600 PIO Mode 4
OS: Win95 OSR2

<I thought Jerry promised us AMD home grown chipsets sixteen months ago. What's the deal here? Where can I buy an AMD 100MHz chipset with AGP and all that has guaranteed compatibility and perfomance?>

You're right, Jerry promised us. And assuming Jerry wasn't lieing and AMD was really working on one, we must conclude the obvious, IT DOESN'T WORK... I would also conclude that the chipsets from the other vendors are not of sufficient quality or Compaq and IMB would be using them. Someone correct me if I am wrong here but AMD has announced a 100mhz bus K6-me2 but IBM and Compaq haven't announced a product that uses it. Why? Many people here insisted a 100mhz motherboard would be ready when the K6-me2 came out but IBM and Compaq don't seem to be convinced. I suspect the available chipsets are junk and only suited for overclockers.
